That made me laugh out loud. I have pre-purchase buyers regret, trying to ensure I don't make a mistake. Once in awhile I remind myself I'm upgrading from a Blackberry Curve, so really can't make a mistake.

You said it all. I back you 100%. I got the Rezound too, best decision. My thoughts and rationale are similar to yours. Screw the Nexus, it's hyped and quickly becoming another Bionic. The Rezound was not pushed or promoted well, but just check out user ratings from Rezound customers on Verizon's website. You didn't even mention the iBeats ear buds, and I am glad you didn't. Everyone thinks the Rezound is about the music. Not true. It is a beast with hardward. The screen is amazing. The camera is very good.

there are reports of an FCC doc about a "AT&T" version (compatible with only at&t in the states). I was expecting exclusivity for Verizon to be about a month, but at this rate it may only be a week or two. though the device may be for some Canadian or Australian carrier even though the FCC is an american agency. too bad the odds are slim of an AT&T pre-christmas release.

Where do I start, So I waited for the Galaxy Nexus for about two months. The U.K., Germany, Japan, Canada, Etc all either released it or confirmed release dates for it but I still waited. Not a single word from Verizon though, which was the ONLY U.S. Carrier that was going to be carrying it this year. I bet Samsung will never give Verizon an exclusive ever again. Well anyways, I was pretty frustrated after seeing all of these other countries get the phone while the U.S. was left out. I went out and bought an HTC Rezound, and you know what? I couldn't be happier. It has a better camera lens, its also 8 MP vs the Galaxy Nexus's 5 MP. It may not have 0 shutter lag but after playing with the settings it is pretty close to it. It comes with a Micro SD Card slot. Did you know that you can't use the Galaxy Nexus as a mass storage device? i.e. FlashDrive? So for all you people out there that have a computer at work with restrictions on it, sorry you're out of luck, you cant move anything to or from the phone unless you have admin rights to install a drive for the phone. Where as for the HTC Rezound you can use it as a flash drive. The HTC Rezound also has a 1.5 ghz processer vs 1.2 ghz on the Galaxy Nexus. Both phones have 1 GB of ram. Oh and the HTC Rezound is actually available to purchase, something the Galaxy Nexus lacks too. The Galaxy Nexus doesn't seem so great now does it? Whats that? It has NFC? Well just remember, it takes two and most phones do not have NFC and it is not popular yet, maybe in two years, when its time for my next upgrade. I also heard that its possible to get NFC on a phone via SD Card but I am really not sure about that. Either way, not having NFC is not a big deal. (for me anyway) for others, it might. And Ice Cream Sandwich? Lets get something straight, Galaxy Nexus has been out for about a month and a half now and it is still not in the U.S. 2012 is fast approaching. The Icre Cream Sandwich melted a long time ago. If the trade off for me getting a better spec'ed phone now is to wait a month or two, then so be it. As for Verizon, if I wasn't grand fathered into unlimited data and if there was another carrier that offered some decent coverage, I would jump ship. I wouldn't want to stay with a carrier thats won't even communicate to their customers.
