Sour grapes? Put my money where my mouth is? I saw similar-grade effects when I watched 405 in 1999. I’m sure when we open our animation studio, we’ll remember this day well.

You thought the visual effects looked bad??? Sounds like sour grapes. Put your money where your mouth is as this will most assuredly get an Emmy nomination next time around.

I hear what you guys are saying, but this is a very romanticized version of their roles in that era, so obviously they’re gonna save the old men for the dust bin (like the pilot in the Bay of Pigs segment).

Z1 is absolutely right. i had a huge problem with this. they portray the environment as early 60s. but they do a horrible job with the people. the ages and personalities are all wrong and are more 21st century than mid century.

The pilots on Pan Am are much too young. They also are too goofy-acting, and appear about half-gay. Nothing wrong with being gay…but if they are gay, they would not display it in 1963. Most of the airline pilots of that era were old fighter pilots from WW2 or Korea. So their correct ages would be late 30’s to about 50.
