Quicker than the ray of light, he’s flying…
Because everyone asked, everyone, including you and your grandparents, I’m giving a quick note to the new Man of Steel trailer that launched today. Gee, no one was bawling about the Star Trek one this morning, a sign of things to come?
I’ve been cautiously optimistic about this new Superman trailer since A) It’s Superman, and Superman is Superlame B) It’s a film by Zack Snyder, who hasn’t pulled off a win since 2007’s 300. But it’s also got half of the Nolan brothers working on it, the same guys who reinvented Batman for a new era. Anyway, just watch the trailer, it’s pretty darn good. Russell Crowe isn’t throwing anyone around in a drunken rage (although he is throwing his son into the deep dark of space), General Zod is being all ‘Kneely Before-y’ and the drama feels just right. Also, Amy Adams, who can highlight any dark soul.
