“I never asked for this.” – President Obama
Asteroids are a prevalent threat. I don’t care how good your survival instinct is or how many cans of Spam you have stored in your concrete barrier 50 feet under the surface. (Also, can we be buddies? Just in case?) To that end, the Obama administration is allocating NASA funds to detecting and eliminating these rogue rocks. To that end, they’re enlisting Bill Nye and some past and present NASA staff to pop up on a Google Hangout this Friday to chat about asteroids.
So how do you get in on the Hangout madness? Simple:
RSVP today, and we’ll send you a reminder before the hangout.
-
What: We the Geeks Hangout to discuss asteroids
-
When: Friday May 31, 2:00 PM ET
-
If you’re cool enough, you may even get to ask Nye, former astronaut Ed Hu, or NASA Deputy Administrator Lori Garver a question! Now, about that bunker? You say it can hold how many people…
