Gestures And Special Stuff
So how do you navigate and backspace when your keyboard takes up the entire slate? Well, you have discrete Shift and Backspace keys, but moving to next words requires either selecting from the keyboard’s prediction space or simply swiping to the right. You get used to it. If you swipe right and up, you emulate the Enter key for paragraphs. If the gestures aren’t doing it for ya, you can even turn on a space bar, but c’mon, you’re starting to defeat the point of the keyboard at that point. Strangely, the options screen seems oddly yanked from the land of Gingerbread.
