I Need That New Hardware
As apps expand their resource footprints, hardware hasn’t stood still. The amount of RAM in flagship phones has doubled, storage has increased, the processors have more cores that run more cycles now. Cameras are more sensitive, radios become more powerful, screens become bigger, brighter and denser. All of this not only works to let you work more than you ever could, but it also increases the value of yoru device because of all its new capabilities.
It’s a combination of all these things that makes me pine for a new phone every year. I’m a power user and whether I’m at home consuming content or on the E3 show floor trying to get work done, sort e-mails and snap photos, I need every ounce of power I can get.
So, Verizon, that monthly offer’s still open.
