The Wii Brought Us Motion Controls, Will The Wii U Take Them Away?
Old look, new flavor.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past decade, you know about how the Wii changed how people played gaming. When it was unveiled, there were strong pulls toward dual opinions: the Wii would flop because Nintendo’s consoles had done progressively worse with each new generation or Nintendo’s position as a market disruptor would allow them to introduce motion controls into console gaming permanently. The former couldn’t have been more wrong, but the latter is still up for debate. The Wii didn’t have the gusto to do motion controls particularly well (aside from tossing a few bowling balls down the lanes) without a few extra peripherals. But things are different this cycle.

Save Water With AXE By Showerpooling
AXE, not only do they make you smell good with their extensive live of body washes and boy sprays, they are also very eco-friendly. So eco-friendly in fact they have come up with a great idea to save on water. This isn’t a boring way of saving water like turning off the sink while you brush your teeth or putting a bottle in the top of the toilet to save on water every time you flush. No this way is more simpler and very enjoyable. Read the rest of this article…

The Spy Next Door. Scooby-Doo! Curse of the Lake Monster. Do you see where I’m going with this?

Worms: Revolution. This Bait Bites Back
The worms go in, the worms go out, the worms play pinochle on my snout.
Worms…when most people think of worms they think of squiggly little dirt-eating annelids who can survive being chopped in half (and actually become 2 squiggly little dirt-eating annelids) and make for some good fishing.
If you’ve been a gamer for a while however, the word worms may just make you think of squiggly little machine gun toting annelids with bad attitudes and air strikes at their disposal.
Those are the ones we’re talking about here.

You Don’t Know Jack For Facebook Is The Quiz Game’s Next Great Frontier
Kelly suckered me into this and now I guess I have to play it every day!
It’s hard to believe that the You Don’t Know Jack series is older than a lot of Facebook users have been alive. Developer Jellyvision brought us the first game almost two decades ago during PC gaming’s CD-ROM renaissance and the game spawned dozens of versions as well as a short-lived TV series starring Paul Ruebens of Pee-wee Herman fame. The series is also known for its crass humor, a factor that became apparent to the ‘rents quick: this wasn’t going to be a game that my brother and I would be playing when we were younger. So now we’re back to Facebook, a place we know oh so well, and YDKJ has found the latest rabbit to sink its claws into: the freemium game. And yeah, it works incredibly well.

[Rec] 3 Genesis Review: More of the Same
I bet it has something witty to say.
Sigh. I’m pretty sure there’s nothing left to be said about the zombie movie. Ever since Danny Boyle’s inventive 28 Days Later resurrected the genre from the grave, we’ve been pummeled with unrelenting waves of zombie pictures. Big budget zombie movies, low budget zombies movies, movies with fast zombies, movies with slow zombies, zombie TV shows, zombie comedies…and holy shit, is there are a horror creation less deserving of so much attention? At least (non-sparkly) vampires are capable of having personality.

The Cold Light of Day: The Most Forgettable Movie of 2012
“I just shit my pants!”
The doldrums of September are finally upon us. It’s that time of year when Hollywood gives full expression to its disdain for movie goers by dumping its crappiest tax write-offs into empty theaters. Enter The Cold Light of Day, a movie so bland and forgettable that, despite having seen it less than twelve hours ago, I actually had to look it up on IMDB.com just to recall the title. I suspect this movie only received a theatrical release because studios wanted to capitalize on the public’s sudden interest in Henry Cavill, the latest actor to win the role of Superman. The wide theatrical release of The Cold Light of Day, however, doesn’t do it’s star any favors.
