The Criterion Collection Rolling out on Hulu

I’ve never heard of The Criterion Collection but they sell and distribute “important classic and contemporary films.” Good news for Hulu because they are launching with 150 films from the collection and most of those are going to be available for Hulu Plus subscribers. Also did I mention they were going to be commercial free? It looks like Hulu may have something to draw in more subscribers because The Criterion Collection’s website lets you stream these movies for $5 a pop or you can pay $7.99/month and watch them whenever you want.

So what movies can you expect to find in the collection?

How about Armageddon, Chasing Amy, Dazed and Confused, Hoop Dreams, The Rock, Broadcast News, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and The Royal Tenenbaums. Or if that’s not your cup of tea they have almost 700 movies spanning the last 100 years.

Now I got to go because Samaritan Zatoichi, Zatoichi and the Fugitives, Zatoichi Challenged, Zatoichi’s Cane Sword, Zatoichi’s Pilgrimage, Zatoichi’s Vengeance, Zatoichi and the Chess Expert, Zatoichi and the Doomed Man, Zatoichi’s Revenge, The Adventures of Zatoichi, Fight, Zatoichi, Fight, Zatoichi’s Flashing Sword, Zatoichi and the Chest of Gold, New Tale of Zatoichi, The Tale of Zatoichi and The Tale of Zatoichi Continues are on Hulu right NOW!
