The Paintball Guns of Community

If you watch Community, you better be, then you may remember last year’s ‘Modern Warfare’ paintball episode. They stepped it up with a new challenge in ‘A Fistful of Paintballs’ with some new guns. I asked myself what kind of paintball guns do they use on Community? So, I did some research and put everything together for you because you’re reading this and that makes me happy!

Modern Warfare

Only a show like Community can pull off paintball episodes. When I first heard of it on the first season I thought it was going to suck but it was one of the best episodes. Here’s a bonus shot of Alison Brie because she’s hot!

Have you seen any of these episodes? If you answered no, do you watch Community? Still no? What the hell is wrong with you, don’t make me reach through your DSL modem and slap you!

i looked up the revolvers and they are airsoft. do they work for paintball and airsoft? also are the little pellets that annie puts into her gun miniature gas cartridges? please explain

    • Inside the “bullet” are little CO2 cartridges, they take 6MM paintballs or BBs. You can see in this video towards the end:

Great post, thanks for all references.
I just would like to know if we can use them as shown on the serie, I mean shoot people without protection, like glasses or mask.
Because it looks really cool because of those battle without gears !

    • Thanks. I’m not a paintball expert but I would always use at least eye protection.

Edit: They had a professional doing the shooting, so every time someone was shot it was by a pro off camera made to look like the actors doing it. The actors weren’t shooting paintballs out of their guns.
