A biography of Steve Jobs which is slated to be released on October 24th, moved up from its original release date of November 21st. Walter Isaacson who has written about Henry Kissinger, Benjamin Franklin and Albert Einstein was chosen over many others to write the biography. The 448 page book is currently the best Seller on Amazon. It is based on over 40 interviews with Steve Jobs and over 100 conversations with friends, family and competitors.

Deadline has learned that Sony Pictures is making a huge deal to acquire the exclusive rights to make a feature film directed by Mark Gordon. Sony has produced The Social Network and Moneyball which we loved! There was a docudrama made about Steve Jobs and Bill Gates called Pirates of Silicon Valley – if you haven’t seen that you need to jump on that – staring Noah Wyle and Anthony Michael Hall and based on the book Fire In The Valley: The Making of The Personal Computer by Paul Freiberger & Michael Swaine.

I like this idea because if you know me you know that I don’t like to read books and rather wait for the movie. I know, I know books are supposed to be better.
