‘Tim And Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie’ Review – I Just, It’s Uh…

This movie is absurd.

Look. You already know if you want to see this movie or not. If the mere mention of the grosstacularly exquisite duo gets your stomach twisting, then just stop reading. For those of us who have been in love with their antics since the beginning, you have, an, uh, ninety-two minute Tim & Eric sketch in your hands.

After creating a billion dollar movie for Schlaaag Inc., Tim and Eric (who are played by Tim and Eric, respectively) flee to try and recoup the cash. Schlaaag (Robert Loggia) and his minions (including a one William Atherton) are now out for blood while their Billion Dollar Movie features a Johnny Depp impersonator in a pure diamond suit. Tim & Eric find themselves lured by the infomercial antics of a Mr. Weebe (Will Farrell) who lets the world know that if they can run his mall, they’ll get a billion dollars. Makes sense, right?

What follows (and also, what begins) is outright madness. It’s obvious that the duo was stretching the material a bit to fill the time, but it actually could’ve done better with more sketches and asides that they’re known for (the film opens with Jeff Goldblum in a fantastic sequence).

So, uh, with that said, I would normally just check my gut and give you a final review number, but I can’t. The movie exists, either watch it or don’t. I mean, whatever. I have to take some aspirin.
