I’m too fast for yall mane!

Part 2 of my top 20 movies I’m looking forward to seeing in 2013 continues on. Remember that these are not all the films I want to see this year. This is just the top ones, the ones I will wait in line for! Enjoy and let me know what you are looking forward to in 2013!

Fast Six – May 24th
If you watched Fast Five you will know why this is on my top 20. That was the best of the franchise so far. The teaser at the end of the movie had me excited to see this!

Now You See Me – June 7th
The Four Horsemen, a magic super-group led by the charismatic Michael Atlas (Jesse Eisenberg), perform a pair of high-tech magic shows, first astonishing audiences by robbing a bank on another continent, and then exposing a white-collar criminal and funneling his millions into the audience members’ bank accounts. This totally slipped pass me and when I first heard about it, I was like great, another magic movie. This movie looks like it will have an awesome showing of technological trickery. Or something like that!

This Is The End – June 14th
I talked about this one before. Seth Rogen, Jay Baruchel and a bunch of other funny actors, play themselves in a post apocalyptic world. I told you this was the year for these types of movies! I’m sure this will be of the funniest films of 2013.

Run! The zombies are coming!

World War Z – June 21st
Sharing what only seems to be the title of the book by Max Brooks, World War Z has been something the world has been wanting for some time. After the trailer came out with super fast running zombies though, people started to be a little skeptical. I’m still down for this though, I haven’t lost hope!

Kick-Ass 2 – June 28th
When the original Kick-Ass came out I was expecting a cute and funny super hero movie. But what I got was a brilliant, dark, super hero movie that also included an awesome little girl as a badass super hero. They definitely left the end of the movie open for a sequel and I’m happy they perused it. This would be in my top 5 to see for 2013.

White House Down – June 28th
This is all I know, and I stole it from Wikipedia: Channing Tatum stars as a United States Secret Service agent who must rescue the President of the United States (Jamie Foxx) from a paramilitary group that has taken over the White House. It’s supposed to be similar to the Die Hard franchise so you know I’m down!

I would totally ride in one of those.

Pacific Rim – July 12th
When giant Cloverfield looking aliens strike how do you fight back? You get Iron Man looking Battlebots that are controlled by humans and fight back! And GLaDOS!

Elysium – Aug 9th
This big budget sci-fi is about the rich and the poor. The poor live on Earth, where it’s overcrowded and just not as luxurious as somewhere else. That somewhere else is, Elysium. You know how the rich people don’t want the poor around them, so they have strict laws on not letting them anywhere near Elysium. Matt Damon stars in this and his character can bring equality to both worlds.

The World’s End – Oct 25th
You know the stars of the this film very well from Shawn of the Dead and Hot Fuzz, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. The plot of this film is: Five childhood friends reunite after twenty years to repeat a legendary pub crawl from their youth, returning to their hometown once again to attempt to reach the fabled pub “The World’s End”. Over the course of the night, they begin to realise that the real struggle is “not just theirs but humankind’s”, and completing the crawl becomes the least of their worries.

Anchorman: The Legend Continues – Dec 20th
The legend does indeed continue. Closing out 2013 is Ron Burgundy, assuming drinking a bunch of scotch, doing more funny Will Ferrell stuff. Not much is know about the plot but if you enjoyed Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy then you will probably also enjoy this!
