It’s a new week, so it’s obviously time for a new elimination cycle for the contestants of Penny Arcade’s Strip Search. Two contestants down and the group’s still feeling pretty big, but there’ll only be winners out of today’s event.
Today’s episode is especially drama-free, well, let me back it up, the whole show is drama-free, and that’s pretty fine by me. Here, contestants partner up (the worst thing for any teacher/instructor to say) to do quick translated sketches from one person to the other, pulled from a variety of one-off or tertiary characters from the Penny Arcade/Trenches/PvP universes. Despite Mac and Abby’s sluggishness, there were no losers in the competition in regards to how the translations came through although by the end, Amy and Erika had proven to be the victors, receiving some Wacom tablets as the spoils.
The most exciting part of the episode, oddly enough, may be the teaser for next week in which PvP’s Scott Kurtz leads the group’s challenge and one of the contestants does something that could be construed as, I don’t even know, walking away? Not even trying a challenge? Stay tuned.
