Psy: *something in Korean*
Everyone knows “Gangnam Style“. Everyone. Brought to us by obscure Korean rapper Psy – obviously not that obscure in his home country South Korea – his video was the first to produce a billion views on YouTube. He suffers no sophomore slump in views, but “Gentleman” is no “Gangnam Style”. Psy’s not complaining: he made $8 million-plus on “Gangnam Style” alone.
At 205 million views (as of this writing), “Gentleman” is well on its way to dethrone its predecessor in short order. That’s if the flavor and steam don’t fizzle out before it can pull off the feat. Of course, this new video also holds the record for most views in a single day (38 million), beating stupid slacktivist squeal KONY 2012 (31 million).
But I know what you came for: you want Psy pulling out chairs from under women and being most of a jerk while cycling in old “Gangnam Style” tropes. In that case, I’ve provided.
