Hell. Yes. It’s been almost twenty years since I’ve driven a go-kart. My dad egged me on because I met the height requirement (I was kinda tall as a kid), so on that last time we went to Omaha’s Fun-Plex, I was sure to give it a go. I was afraid of wrecking the kart, I was afraid of wrecking someone else’s kart, I was afraid of anything involving go-karting, but once I was going, I was gone. Mmmm… oh, right, Strip Search!
Sorry, all the go-karting in this episode brought back some incredible memories! The contestants are off to the races, putting their (lack) of racing skills to the test. After a practice and qualifying run, the seven remaining artists set off to their track. At various points, everyone appears to wreck out, but Erika seems to be fond of taking out the course’s walls while she and Abby skip sections of course entirely. After plenty of GoPro-enabled madness, Lexxy winds up the winner as Erika gets disqualified for her malarkey. I enjoyed the hell out of this challenge.
What I’m not enjoying so much is visiting the Con again. After setting it up twenty-four hours earlier (but two weeks in show-reveal time), we’re back to load that basement with people as the artists will have to deal with crowds. Hmm.
