Modern Warfare 3 Behind the Scenes of ELITE and Strike Packages

Statistics, statistics, statistics. That’s the main reason I think people will pay to have ELITE. There are other things you can do like change your classes, learn how to properly use every gun in the game, study maps and find alternative routes to objectives and STATS! I mean it looks like everything is put together really well but do you really want to pay $50 extra a year for it?

You can kind of sign up for ELITE right now on their website. Well I was able to create an account but couldn’t link my Xbox Live profile, it just errors out. I don’t have a PS3 so I couldn’t test that.

### WATCH “COMPETE” BEHIND THE SCENES ###

I’m excited for this whole strike packages thing they’ve come up with in the new game. It’s because I suck at the game that I like it, you know in the previous games you were rewarded for kill streaks, I think I only ever got the sentry gun twice, SINCE THE BEGINNING OF TIME, that’s how much I suck! But back to the strike packages and why I’ll be happy…

Support package. This is how I play, I’m good at planting bombs, defusing bombs, capturing flags, returning flags, capturing territories, etc. That’s what I do best and they finally came up with something for me. I can run around rack up points then die and those points won’t reset. Sure I won’t get some of the cooler things but it’s worth it to me.

Assault package. This is pretty much like what the kill streak rewards were in the previous games, once you die they reset, etc.

Specialist package. Now this is interesting, you start off with 3 perks and as you gain kills in a row you get another perk until you get all the perks making you like a super soldier. I can see my little brother playing as this because he is the type of person that would get nukes in games, every game. Now will this be fair for all the other players? The person will be a super soldier, like unstoppable. I guess we will find out.
