WHAT?! Mine Craft + Death Star Trench Run = OH MY JEEBUS!

I don’t even know what to say about this. Seriously.

Youtuber ParadiseDecay sat down and spent at LEAST 14 years creating this amazing video of the Death Star trench run from Star Wars, entirely in Minecraft. The sheer genius of some of the things I’ve seen created is nothing short of awesome and this beats everything else I’ve come across.

ParadiseDecay had this to say, in the video comments

TRIVIA: Watch it a 2nd time….. and see if you can spot the hidden ‘Nether Portal’?

To celebrate my 99th video I’ve decided to mark the occasion with this special video. It’s been 4 months in the making….
Everything in the video has been built by hand!
I have tried to re-create the Death Star trench section as close to the original model, as featured in the film. This you will be able to see in the ‘Making of….. video’.

No special effects or mods have been used….. its all vanilla Minecraft!
I did use an editor to put together the final set peice and I did use a Death Star Schematic for the long shots of the Death Star. (*See Below)

No wookies we’re harmed in the making of this video, but many creepers died.

Vanilla Minecraft…

I seriously made a little mark in my drawers when I watched this video.

Check it out, below!

I’m pretty sure I’m going to have this guy do the architecture for my next house. I mean, if he can do this with Minecraft, think of what he could do with AutoCAD.

Good lord.

I think some of the scenes could’ve been sped up in post to better match the film. A great effort, though!
