Brisksaber for iOS & Android Review

How fun can a game made to pretty much promote a product be? Pretty fun, in fact I wanted to do this review a few days ago but I’ve been busy playing Brisksaber and have finally made myself write this! Brisksaber is Fruit Ninja but Star Wars themed.

There are two game mode, survival and time trial. You are also able to play on the light or dark side with each side having a friendly that you can’t hit and different object to tear up. The game plays pretty well and provides plenty of hours of fun but there are a few downsides that I think can be fixed.

The lightsaber doesn’t feel fully responsive, like there is a little bit of lag. One of biggest issues I saw was I can’t really tell if had already hit something and would let stuff fall that I thought I hit but obviously didn’t. Towards the 2,000 point mark items start falling from the top at an extremely high speed and that is not cool at all! NOT COOL AT ALL! AND WTF DOES THE BRISK BOTTLE DO?

I love Fruit Ninja but it gets a little boring after completing all the challenges, yes I’m that good. There are challenges in this game but no way to see your progress without completing a round and I don’t know what happens when you get 100% on each one. Also I’m not sure if the lightsabers unlock after completing challenges or if they unlock on the dates below them because I swear I only had the option for one lightsaber then another unlocked but before the date, hmmm…

This is still e fun game but with some improvements I think it will be even more fun. Take a look at the my screen shots and let me know in the comments what your high score is!
