Rockstar Goes Live With Max Payne 3 Website

So, I got an email from Rockstar earlier talking about their new website for Max Payne 3, and I figured I’d share it with all of you.

It’s loaded with screenshots, videos, artwork, news and information as well as all of the goodies detailed below.

Here’s what they had to say in the email.

The new Max Payne 3 website is live with a ton of never-before-seen content including a new video, screens and 360-degree views of the high-powered 608 Bull Revolver shown above, details on one of São Paulo’s most vicious and influential cartels, the Comando Sombra and their ruthless leader Serrano, as well as a collection of new exclusive screens.

The site also features updated original artwork and a chronicle of all Max Payne 3 news, videos, downloads and information released to date. Explore it all at and check back often in the weeks and months ahead for a fully-loaded barrage of new videos, screens, game details and much much more as we barrel towards Max Payne 3’s release on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC this May.

Furthermore, they’re all done with their casting event and have chosen the 8 lucky people whose likenesses will be used in Max Payne 3.

Here are the details on that event.

We’d like to thank EVERYONE out there who participated in the #MaxPayne3 casting event – the casting call turnout activity surpassed our expectations with #MaxPayne3 usage spiking to the top of the worldwide Trending Topics moments after the event was first announced.

From December 16th, 2011 through January 13th, 2012 we selected ten people at random each week that we spotted using the #MaxPayne3 hashtag on Twitter. From there, selections were contacted and asked to send us a picture for consideration. We then picked two people from each group, in each of the four weeks (eight people in total) to have their likeness appear as a multiplayer gang character in Max Payne 3.

Suffice it to say, it was pretty difficult settling on only 8 people… The gang looks to be a pretty rad multiplayer hit squad of internationally-assembled killers – recruited from Germany, London, NYC, Los Angeles, Canada, Brazil, Australia and Japan.

Visit for some info on those we selected and stay tuned to see photos of their final in-game characters, prior to the release of Max Payne 3 this May.
