Spy Vs. Spy? It Is A Riddle, Wrapped In A Mystery, Inside An Enigma!

The Enigma Machine has NOTHING on this mystery!

Just a few minutes ago, I got an email. That email contains a picture of the Spies from Mad Magazine’s Spy Vs. Spy (Known as Yin and Yang) and is very cryptic, indicating that there’s a clue to something big included.

This is the image which was included with the email. What’s the cypher on the bottom about?

Well, it looks like those shifty spies might be back at it, coming up with new and creative ways of hurting each other in their never ending quest to…well, to be honest I don’t know what they’re up to or why they’ve been blowing each other up for 51 years but they sure are persistent, aren’t they?

Speaking of that, I remember playing the old Spy Vs. Spy video game on the Commodore 64 when I was a kid. My sister and I spent hours and hours setting traps and blowing each other up and then getting into fights because one or the other of us was looking at the other’s half of the screen (split screen multiplayer = cheaters heaven). I recall loving that game to death and always wondered why they didn’t just keep making sequels for it.

The original Spy Vs. Spy game. Oh, the fun we had…Oh the fights we had…

At this point, we don’t know much about what’s going on (or do we?) but we think that code at the bottom of the image may have some sort of information embedded within it. We’re all pretty tired around here at FleshEatingZipper, due to way too much of the good stuff (Beer, Wine, Liquor) and not nearly enough of the bad stuff (Sleep) so we probably aren’t going to figure the cypher out within the next 20 years or so…Hell, we’re still trying to figure out the teaser they sent out in March, and that one doesn’t even HAVE a code on it.

So here’s what we’re going to do. We’ll leave the image posted and the first person who decrypts it for us will win a prize! You’ll have your choice of…uhm…let’s see here…a stretched out rubber-band in the shape of a dinosaur…uhm…a packet of “hot” sauce from the Mexican joint down the road or…hmmm…a somewhat chewed pencil eraser!!

Of course, you’ll also get some bragging rights for being the first person to crack the secret code for FEZ and you can rub that in all of your friends’ faces!

So bring it on, amateur code-breakers. Let’s see what ya got!

We’re not really going to send you a prize but if you get the code in the next few hours, I may be convinced to hook you up with a priority beta code for bullet-run, so HURRY!
