Harry Potter for Kinect will allow players to join Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger on an adventure through the magical Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, as well as beyond its walls in a game which spans all 8 of the films and will allow players the opportunity to not only play as some of their favorite characters but will also give them the ability to create their own wizard or witch, using their own image via the face scanning technology which is built in to the Kinect for Xbox 360, which will allow players to become an active participant in the story.
Using the controller free and voice recognition technology which is built in to Kinect for Xbox 360, players will be able to case spells at all manner of enemies including Death Eater, Dementors and other opponents and will be able to perform full body moves like ducking around the branches of the Whomping Willow and dodging Bludgers during a steaming hot match of Quidditch.
Harry Potter for Kinect hands the players the keys to the film series and gives them the chance to relive some of the most memorable moments of the super popular films. Everything from getting sorted into houses at Hogwarts to getting down with Voldemort in a massive final battle and will also allow them to take on opponents in various mini-games as well as joining in with family and friends for some co-op action.
