God Save the King!

Ubisoft announced today a season pass for Assassin’s Creed III. This season pass gets you all five upcoming DLC packages when they release at no additional charge including, The Tyranny of King Washington. The Tyranny of King Washington is an all new single-player campaign that lets you experience an alternate history of the events following the American Revolution. “History is our playground – and AC teams have always loved playing with historical facts and their consequences as a way to better understand a time period,” said Sebastien Puel, Executive Producer at Ubisoft. “While Assassin’s Creed III concentrates on history as it happens, we wanted to take some liberties with this DLC and tell you how things ‘could have happened.'”

Assassin’s Creed III DLC will also feature new maps and characters for an even more expansive multiplayer experience. Those with the season pass not only save 25% over the costs of the packs bought separately, they also get to download and play the new DLC a week before it’s released to the general public, just like if you owned Call of Duty Elite. The Assassin’s Creed III season pass will be available for purchase for 2400 Microsoft Points on Xbox LIVE or $29.99 on the PlayStationNetwork. You can also pre-order it at GameStop and Best Buy.
