‘BioShock Infinite’s Columbia Recreated In ‘Minecraft’, Because Of Course

Bring them the girl, wipe away all the debt, but with blocks.

Considering how much of BioShock Infinite‘s aesthetic wonder is in its details, I wouldn’t blame you if you thought this Minecraft adaptation of the game’s Columbia setting seems to require a little imagination in spots. Still, what we have here is an impressive recreation of the flying city.

Using Minecraft‘s cart system in place of Infinite‘s sky-rails seems like a natural fit if the fall damage is turned off. The lo-res architecture here is plenty incredible, but where it excels is in the earth tone texturing. If you click through the video link below, creator volx1337 has provided downloads for not only the map, but that texture pack as well. If you have dreams of mining your way through Columbia’s landmarks, because I know that’s exactly what you’re thinking of while you flamed, shocked, and shot your way through it, this is your best shot!
