Everything’s had a second look, it appears.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution was my most-anticipated game of 2011 and while it was a solid title and one of my favorite experiences that year, it definitely had some opportunities for refinement. Well, as Eidos Montreal is chatting about below, the Director’s Cut on the Wii U will be the best version of the game.

First off: they re-did the boss battles, which were the weakest component of the game in the first place. The Wii U’s tablet controller also absorbs all of the game’s menus and mini-games and that seems pretty fantastic. They’ve included The Missing Link DLC and a bunch of other refinements, graphical upgrades and so forth.

Am I jealous? A little. I’d been planning a second run through the game anyway and it seems like this would be the best way to do it. If you’re one of the few that’s bought a Wii U and of the fewer that own a Wii U and haven’t played Human Revolution, you owe it to yourself to play it.
