Who announces an announcement? People! People do! Well, this is par for the Electronic Arts game, so I guess it makes sense. We won’t know anything about the game until this afternoon, although I may exhaust all of my interest reporting about The Sims 4 by the time I finish this post.
I really can’t be all that mean to The Sims, though. Maxis needs some good news as it’s still trying to make its last big game into something that people want to play. What else does Maxis have? It’s between SimCity and The Sims, right? Also: I’ve never enjoyed The Sims as a game, so there’s really nowhere to go but up, right?
Oh, N, you’re just being contrarian! Now now, let’s not forget that The Sims debuted in the heart of Will Wright’s term with the company, back when he was still its architect. Did I enjoy having to micromanage my Sims to success? Were they really so dumb that they couldn’t manage visiting the restroom after waking up and always winding up miserable at work? I gave it to TC and Cody to try and enjoy and all they did was kill their Sim in every despicable way possible. Maybe that’s how someone plays that game…
Anyway, Sims 4, blah blah blah, 2014, blah blah blah, PC, Mac, etc.
