For all the hubbub about the PlayStation 4’s graphical superiority to the Xbox One, Drive Club wasn’t the game to show it. While both Drive Club developer Evolution Studios (Motorstorm) and Forza developer Turn 10 are both known for pushing their respective consoles to the limit, Forza Motorsport 5 wins the presentation battle pretty handily. Yeah, I actually have to give a point to Drive Club for flashier menu design systems, but in playing the game, the hand went to Microsoft. From the environmental detail to the in-cockpit dashboard reflections in the windshield, everything about Forza screamed power when a bunch of exotic cars weren’t audibly screaming their power levels.
Winner: Forza Motorsport 5
