Look at them looking at each other.

Look at them looking at each other.

It’s pretty interesting to see the split of the different genre games coming exclusively to each platform. The PS4 will have a lot of MMO, PC style games while the Xbox One seems to have more of a mix. Let’s dive in, shall we?

PlayStation 4

Blacklight: Retribution
Free to play first-person shooter developed by Zombie Studios and originally released in April 2012 for PC.

Daylight
Also made by Zombie Studios, this survival horror video game is played from a first-person perspective. The player does not have access to weapons; their only tool is their cell phone, which is also their sole light source.

Deep Down
Nothing really known about this except it’s being made by Capcom and that this is a working title.

Don’t Starve
An open world survival video game developed and published by Klei Entertainment. Originally released for PC in April 2013 it will also be coming to PS4.

Driveclub
An upcoming racing video game published by Sony Computer Entertainment and developed by Evolution Studios. It won some awards from us or something at E3.

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn
An upcoming massively multiplayer online role-playing game for Microsoft Windows personal computer, Sony PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.

inFAMOUS: Second Son
An upcoming open world action-adventure video game, developed by Sucker Punch Productions. This also won an award at E3 from us.

Killzone: Shadow Fall
30 years after Killzone 3, the war still rages on. This is a launch title for the PS4.

Knack
“A little bit like Crash Bandicoot and Katamari Damacy, with a touch of God of War“. This is also supposed to be a launch title.

Octodad: Deadliest Catch
Kickstarted for $24,000 in 2011 this is an interesting looking game. It will be available for PC, Mac and Linux as well as PS4.

Outlast
Supposed to be one of the scariest games you will ever play. Don’t play with the lights off!

PlanetSide II
We have talked about PlanetSide II so much, it’s coming to PS4.

Transistor
An forthcoming science fiction turn-based strategy video game by Supergiant Games. It is expected for release in 2014 on PS and PlayStation 4.

War Thunder
MMO combat flight simulator. It’s in open beta on PC right now.

The Witness
An upcoming 3D puzzle video game by Number None, Inc. The game was announced in August 2009 for PC and iOS; though designer Jonathan Blow had initially intended to create versions for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles, he later opted to forgo development on these, believing the consoles unable to perform what he needed the game to do.

The Order: 1886
Set in a alternative universe where the industrial revolution came about as an effort to win a centuries-old war against inhuman enemies.

Secret Ponchos
An online shooter fighting video game for the PlayStation 4 by Switchblade Monkeys, an indie game developer.

Now to Microsoft’s console…
