Galaxy Nexus Gets November 10th Release Date On Verizon?

Looks like some Verizon employee has decided his job isn’t worth it, because into our (well, collectively the internet’s) hands falls a release schedule of the network’s phones. Included is both our favored Droid RAZR and the new ultra-slick Galaxy Nexus, but something isn’t quite right here.

Per the leaked schedule, the Droid RAZR is slated for an October 27th date, but as we all know that’s when Verizon plans to start pre-orders for the phone. Both the Galaxy Nexus and the HTC Rezound are slated for a November 10th date, but that might also be for pre-orders. The carrier has already stated that the Galaxy Nexus – complete with lovely Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich – will be out this year, but there’s no sense in waiting for the holiday shopping period to officially begin, which is typically after Thanksgiving. It also appears that both have a confirmed $299 price, which seems like a bit much for subsidized hardware in this day and age, but I guess that’s what cutting-edge technology requires…

Hey, if they give it a stock ICS build on the RAZR, then it’s the second best Android phone out there.
