How to Use Google Business Photos

Google just announced Google Business Photos today and it’s really pretty cool. It’s like Street View but inside businesses. We heard rumors like a year ago that they were doing this but nothing really came about that until now. My problem is I couldn’t figure out how to use it at first so I thought I would show other people so you don’t struggle like me.

Lets test it out with this place, Gruhn Guitars, you will see just a satelite view and you may be trying to just zoom into street view and frantically start clicking on the door to get in, I did at least. Well that’s not going to do it, you will just keep zooming in and out! Calm down… Over on the left click on the business name, this will take you to the business place page.

Once you are their look under the mini map on the right you should see some photos rotating and zooming with the street view guy on it. Click the rotating image thingy and there you go, whoa, now it’s like you’re there. You just saved yourself tons of gas and you see if they have what you’re looking for in stock and if there are any specials. I’m just joking about the in stock and specials thing, just pick up a phone and call them.

If you are a business and want to be included in Google Business Photos you can click here to apply. Check out Google’s animation video explaining how the service works below.
