Microsoft’s Newly Awarded Patent Helps You Avoid The Hood

Microsoft was recently awarded a new pedestrian GPS patent that will give you options like avoiding rain, high traffic places, the ghetto, only indoor routes, etc. Whoa, hold on there Microsoft, the what? Here’s how Microsoft explains it.

“As a pedestrian travels, various difficulties can be encountered, such as traveling through an unsafe neighborhood or being in an open area that is subject to harsh temperatures. A route can be developed for a person taking into account factors that specifically affect a pedestrian. Moreover, the route can alter as a situation of a user changes; for instance, if a user wants to add a stop along a route.”

Now upper class white people won’t have an excuse when they get pulled over by a cop after buying blow or getting an BJ/HJ/ZJ from a hooker.

Rich Guy: Officer, I swear I made a wrong turn and I’m just trying to find a way out.

Cop: Don’t lie to me buddy, I see your Windows phone and that thing won’t let you go near the hood, in fact this street doesn’t even exist on these maps!

You know it reminds of the scene from Harold and Kumar, you know this one.
