SplashBang – Graphics, Sound, Video…Cool Company

First off, let me start by saying that this is NOT a paid advertisement or endorsement of any person or company…I’m writing this article because I like the company and I like what they’re doing.

A few months ago, I wrote an article about a video which was done by one of our fans, the art series which he had done and the company he was starting. In that time, his vision has come a long way and his company is getting off the ground. I took some time to revisit what he’s been up to and I have to tell you; I’m impressed.

So what’s Splash Image been up to? Well, first of all it has become Splash Productions (but can still be found at facebook.com/splashimage), a site which hosts some vidocs and concept proofs, and will be hosting tutorials in the future (so it seems). It has also become Splash Bang, a site which will be specializing in corporate concept imagery, creative solutions and custom design.

I’ve had a look at both of the sites and I’m very happy with what I’ve seen there. Bercley Fernando’s vision and concept has expanded quite a bit since he started mucking about with his “Humandroid” art series and he’s come a very long way toward making a hobby into something real and marketable…A concept which we here at FleshEatingZipper understand all to well, since that’s exactly what we’ve done here.

We, too, started out doing this thing as a hobby and stuck with it through all of the highs and lows, ups and downs, stops and starts, site changes, location changes, host changes and concept changes. What started out as a small concept snowballed into a big thing and I’m overjoyed when I see other people out there who are able to turn something they enjoy into something they can be successful at.

So if you’re in the market for graphic design, video concepts or kick-ass apparel, make sure you check out Splash Bang – A cool company run by a cool dude with a cool accent. And even if you don’t need any of that stuff, check it out anyway. GET OVER THERE!
