The YouTube App Getting Pulled from iOS 6, About Time

Go away please.

Well it won’t be pre-loaded at least. The YouTube app is probably the worst thing in iOS with not being able to choose what browser a link opens in as a close second. Apple said: “Our license to include the YouTube app in iOS has ended. Customers can use YouTube in the Safari browser and Google is working on a new YouTube app to be on the app store.”

I remember when I first got an iPhone and I found the YouTube app to be cool, that is until YouTube updated their mobile version which made the app look bad. And there was never any update to the damn thing, it has always looked the same with the same icon. I just don’t get why it’s been around this long, I mean make it work and look nice if you have to keep it in for contract reasons.

I can’t wait for the day I get to uninstall the app, it will feel so good. That is if I stay with the iPhone, it all depends on what comes next but, that’s a different article in itself.
