Hey gang, what’s the action? If you were too busy drinking wine out of a can, cooking rancid meat on a hot plate, or dating a retard, there’s a good chance you missed the season premiere of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. There’s no need to worry — I’ll give you the down low and whether or not it’s worth watching after the break!
Let’s be honest, the last season was incredibly lack luster sparing only a few gems (I’m still butt hurt from it). It’s still too soon to tell, but based on last nights episode, the gang might bring back it’s earlier season sparkle.
Now, to bring everyone up to speed. For one, the characters in IASIP have become more degenerate — if that was even possible. Mac has been ignorantly “cultivating mass”, while Frank’s hair has become disgustingly long and natty. The rest of the gang are still incredibly selfish, stupid and well any other adjective that falls into that category. Charlie is the only character who seems to be the same — which is what makes Charlie Charlie. However, one thing I miss from the older seasons is the “straight man” that was either played by Dennis, Dee, or Mac. Unfortunately, that specific characteristic has been tossed out to either extras or special guests, leaving the gang more quirky than ever. Has anyone else noticed IASIP has gone away the Seinfeld-esque relatable situations to over the top unrelatable circumstances? Either way, the show is still entertaining even if it’s like watching a train derail. I mean that in the best possible way. Derailed trains are fun to watch. Now, who wants to adopt a dog fighting pitbull with me?
