Skyrim – The Epic Rap Video

Skyrim, the epic fifth game in the Elder Scrolls series by Bethesda Softworks is certainly stirring up a lot of interest in the gaming community and seems to be creating its own energy in the form of fan-created trailers, short films and music.

One of our U.K. based readers known as Dan Bull created a rap video centered around the game and dropped us a link to it.

Check it out, after the jump!

I consider myself a fairly eclectic music fan in that I listen to everything from Chopin to Killswitch Engage, with little to no exception. The only thing I refuse to listen to is country music because…well…it sucks.

While I have been known to listen to rap from time to time, I tend to stick to the bigger acts like Eminem, Tupac, Nas and Jay-Z because they have a certain flow that I enjoy and that flow makes all the difference in the world.

When “Dan Bull” dropped me the link for this video, I shook my head and thought to myself “Oh lord, here we go. This is gonna suck and I’m going to have to think of a tactful way to tell this guy we can’t do anything for him.”

If you’ve read any of my articles, you will immediately recognize the fact that tact and diplomacy are not natural for me and I have to spend 3-12 hours in peaceful meditation in order to build up enough inner serenity to be diplomatic for as much time as it takes to write one op-ed.

Fortunately, I was VERY pleasantly surprised when I watched this video and am very happy to present it here for all of you to enjoy as much as I did.

SO, without further adieu, I present to you “Dan Bull” and Skyrim.
