Because you are including a Kinect sensor with every Xbox One, shouldn’t you have justified the Kinect’s extra cost and functionality in your press conference? Did you consider showing off more than just one or two Kinect-enabled games for the Xbox One? Do you even have more Kinect-enabled games? Did you know that your press conference failed to show us why everyone who buys an Xbox One really needs a Kinect?
And what is “cloud-enhanced” besides a buzzword that you kept using over and over? Didn’t you think it would be a good idea to actually show us this cloud-enhancement in an actual game or two during the press conference? What are we putting that $499 toward, exactly? Did you think that a vague teaser featuring Master Chief would be enough to clinch it?
Did you think about showing us the benefits of the Xbox One’s “always on” connectivity requirements? Do you realize that so far you have shown nothing that makes us excited about it? If I’m going to spend $499 for your console, what good does it do my gaming and entertainment experiences to connect my Xbox One to the internet every 24 hours? Shouldn’t you have shown that at your press conference? Is there even any benefit to me at all?
