OUYA Ships Developer Consoles On Time

OUYA, user interface mockup

A few days ago, OUYA, sent an update to all the backers letting them know they sent off 1,200 developer consoles to developers around the world. They also released an unboxing video showing off the first run special developer consoles. They are translucent, rooted and ready to go straight from the box. OHMGEE!

I don’t know how long Seth Rogen & Jay Baruchel have been working on this movie but I can tell you it’s been a while. Turtle Beach – Ear Force Tango Wireless Headset Review

Ear Force Tango, powering on!

Last week Rob wrote a review on the Turtle Beach – Ear Force Sierra. Well that wasn’t the only headset Turtle Beach sent us. Being a console gamer I jumped on and went full out and grabbed the Ear Force Tango, the wireless headset for Xbox 360 and PS3. I didn’t really know what I was getting myself into, I’ve tried wireless headsets that were $100+ for audio and they were complete junk. Hopefully this $299 Call of Duty: Black Ops II headset won’t let me down. Read the rest of this article…

Does Instagram’s New Privacy Policy & Terms of Service Cross The Line?

Just when I was going to be using it more…

In January Instagram will be enforcing a new privacy policy and terms of service that some are calling Instagram’s “suicide note.” Why? Because the new terms states that “some or all of the Service may be supported by advertising revenue. To help us deliver interesting paid or sponsored content or promotions, you agree that a business or other entity may pay us to display your username, likeness, photos (along with any associated metadata), and/or actions you take, in connection with paid or sponsored content or promotions, without any compensation to you.” Read the rest of this article…

Don’t be like this asshole…

If you’ve never heard of Cards Against Humanity, you are really missing out on something special. Instead of trying to explain it you can check out their site or Wikipedia for more information. Mystery Package Sent to Indiana Jones at University of Chicago

Dr. Jones?

I love a good mystery and this one is still unsolved. On Tuesday, the Economics department received a package address to Henry Walton Jones, Jr. They receive wrong mail so often and didn’t think twice about it until another student pointed out that Henry Walton Jones, Jr. was Indiana Jones. So naturally, they opened it. Read the rest of this article…

Facebook Android App Ditches HTML 5, App Twice As Fast

Facebook logo…

This summer Facebook released an update to their iOS ditching HTML 5 to run on native code. This move was awesome because it sped up the app so much. I was saddened to see that the Android version was still on HTML 5 and I was back to the same issues there was on the iPhone and missing some awesome features. Well that all changed today with the app update. Read the rest of this article…
