The good:
- Fast response
- Comfortable
- Sexy looking
- Accurate
- It is named after my favorite hobby.
- Super low price (The mouse is $40 without the core 3 software)
The bad:
- The software can be a bit intimidating until you read through the manuals, which must be grabbed in PDF format, online.
- When you change cores, it can take a while to regain movement of your mouse due to windows reinstalling drivers for the newly found hardware.
- You have to pay an additional $20 for the core 3 software, which is not clearly stated. (This is a marketing problem, not a mouse issue)
The ugly:
- Your mom. C’mon, you had to see that coming!
- Nothing else.
Overall, I think it’s a damn solid mouse. It’s missing the ability to add or remove weights, but I haven’t needed them because I don’t need the extra heft. The sensor is sensitive, but not so sensitive that it sees your playing surface more than a couple of millimeters away. The buttons are responsive and the mouse has a comfortable feel to it. I’ve been using it exclusively for two weeks and I haven’t come across a single time when I wasn’t enjoying using it. I definitely recommend it.
