Bloody Headshot. Could a mouse possibly have a better name?
In my time as a gamer I’ve had the opportunity to use a lot of gaming mice. Logitech, Microsoft, Razer, Mionix: these are just a few names I’ve had my hands on.
During E3, the folks at Bloody dropped one of their gaming mice on me and asked me to do a no-nonsense review. Of course, I accepted and after using that mouse for the last two weeks, I’m ready to render my verdict, with a nice video of one of the main advertised features – recoil suppression.
I’m not going to get into the whole “unboxing” ritual because, honestly, I think it’s silly. This isn’t a review of the packaging, it is a review of the hardware so that’s what you’re going to get. I will say that it was as nicely packaged as the mouse itself would suggest, though.
The bloody Headshot V8 – unplugged
One of the things which struck me right away is that the mouse is pretty. It’s symmetrical, jet black and has lines and ribs all over it which give it a wicked kind of look. Of course, it also has the obligatory lighting, which pulses rather nicely in a deep blood red.

After I looked at it for a few minutes, I plugged it in, installed the software and I was ready to rock.
