‘Strip Search’ Recap: Season 1, Episode 24 “Quick & Consistent”

An… interesting challenge.

After last week’s “passive” challenge, in which the penalties were none, but the Jungle Speed game exciting, it seems odd that this week’s “active” challenge was such a dud. I’m sure on a scrap of paper somewhere, this was the greatest idea.

Is Anyone Else Sick Of The YouTube Nazi-Bots?

I just have to get this out of my system, before I explode, because it’s something that’s been driving me crazy for a very long time.

YouTube… seriously. Pull your heads out of your collective assholes and do something constructive for a change instead of sitting around like a bunch of idiots, laughing at videos of Hitler finding out his schnitzel got eaten by the dog.

Bacon-Themed Restaurant Forced To Close Because Of Overwhelming Bacon

Bacon-Themed Restaurant Forced To Close Because Of Overwhelming Bacon

There is such a thing as too much bacon.

Man Gives Away Abercrombie & Fitch Clothing To Homeless People

I’d be hesitant, too.

Last week, I read Salon’s classic piece about Abercrombie & Fitch’s corporate culture, helmed by an eccentric 61-year old who spends his every working day trying to fit in with the twenty-something crowd. After its CEO told off fat girls by saying their band was exclusionary and designed to only fit on ‘the cool kids’, the internet revolted. One guy decided their brand needed to be humbled a bit by finding Abercrombie clothing and handing it out to homeless people.

Where Are We? Unleash Your Inner Carmen Sandiego With Geoguessr

I think this is the closest I ever got.

You’re a stranger in a strange land. You’re plopped down onto a road somewhere randomly on the planet. You can go up and down this road, just like you would any Google Street View, but all navigational markings are missing. With only your wits and a vague sense of direction, you hazard to where you are and place a pin on the map. Depending on how far you were, your points go up exponentially. Place a pin in France and wind up in Australia and, well, you won’t have that many points.
