Primal Carnage Tearing Its Way On To Your PC On October 29

My, what big teeth you have!

What’s that I hear off in the distance? Is it a large garbage truck or some sort of tank rolling down the road? That deep, thunderous sound…Kinda sounds like footsteps but…NO, it can’t be. Something that heavy? It would have to be a large armored robot, wouldn’t it?

Nope, it’s a dinosaur looking for a tasty snack and he really, REALLY seems to think my face is a tasty and satisfying Ritz Crackerful. WHERE’D I PUT MY SHOTGUN?!?!

That’s right boys and girls. Grab your firearms and prepare to do warfare against savage dinosaurs as they roam the landscape and ravage everything before them in their search for tasty man-morsels. These big pissed off lizards think we’re all side dishes in some kind of twisted smorgasbord and they aim to be picking bits of our skulls out of their teeth so we need to get ready to take care of business!

Did I just say man-morsels? Yikes…I must be tired.

Anyway, Reverb Publishing just announced the upcoming release of Lukewarm Media’s “Primal Carnage”, which will be launching its way onto PC’s everywhere on October 29 and can be acquired via the Primal Carnage websiteSteamGameStop,GamersGate, and Rain for the flesh-tearingly low price of $14.99.

MY GOD I’m loving the latest trend in PC game pricing! I think I’ll write an article about that.

In Primal Carnage, dinosaurs are the stars of the show, taking center stage in the new class-based online multiplayer shooter which features fast-paced combat between a team of humans stupid brave enough to stand toe-t0-toe and do battle with them as they attempt to turn everything they see into screaming dinosaur vittles, which they’ll then wash down with a tasty and refreshing Pepsi.

Other than the fact that players can choose to fight on either side of the battle, either as a brave human, fighting for survival or as a hungry dinosaur, fighting for a tasty snack, we have a few other features to share with you.

Primal Carnage key features include:

  • Rendered in stunning beauty using the Unreal Engine, players will wage war between man and beast in five large, open and varied environments
  • 10 playable classes (five Human, five Dinosaur), each with unique skills and abilities
  • Play from both first-person (Human) and third-person (Dinosaur) perspectives providing a contrasting gameplay experience for both teams
  • Multiple achievements and an extensive DLC roadmap

This one looks like it’s going to be a LOT of fun and I can’t wait to get my hands on it. I’ll probably be playing as a dinosaur, though, because OM NOM NOM NOM NOM!
