When you fire up the software, you’re presented with a screen which allows you to select which of the three “cores” you want to use. This basically defines what you’ll be using the mouse for. They refer to these as RTS/RPG, Primary FPS and Senior FPS. It’s clear to me that by “primary” and “senior” they are making a distinction between low end, casual FPS games and high-end, professional-type FPS games (think APB versus ARMA 3).

Core Selection
In Core 1 mode, your mouse operates as per normal; it’s just a mouse. From there, the software starts tweaking the way the mouse works. With Core 2 you can define how your primary mouse button will operate by using the three spine buttons on the mouse. 1 causes the mouse to fire a single shot, N is a 2 round shot and 3 is a 3 round burst.
It’s when you get in to the third core that things take an interesting turn…
