So, if you listened to any of the recent podcasts we released (under a different name, that is) you would have heard CERTAIN PEOPLE asking me to watch the movie “Due Date” and telling me that it was a funny, modern version of “Planes, Trains and Automobiles” turned up to 11…

The Roommate: Chick Horror

The Roommate: Chick Horror

In just a few days, Screen Gems will release The Roommate, or as I like to call it: “Single White Female Goes to College.” Minka Kelly from Friday Night Lights is assigned a dorm room with Gossip Girl’s Leighton Meester, who then takes over her life. The preview warns, “Meet your new roommate. She wants to befriend you, she wants to protect you, and on February 4th, she wants to become you!

She wants to “become” you? Could there be a more chick-oriented concept for a thriller?

Movie Review: RED

Movie Review: RED

I have to hand it to RED: I really wasn’t sure I’d appreciate the film’s depiction of a bunch of over-the-hill government-trained killers. In any other movie, they’d be fumbling their way scene to scene, something intended to be far more comical, and watch as their kills come by misadventure rather than through channeling their former glory. Oh, sure, it’s based off a critically acclaimed comic book series, but who reads comic books?

Your Move, Hollywood

Your Move, Hollywood

They say the economy in India will surpass the U.S. economy in less than three decades. If the clip below from last year’s huge Bollywood release “Robot” is any indication, they’re ready to show Michael Bay and James Cameron how big-budget cheese is really done. If this is what they can do with a $32.5 million budget, I want to see what they do with $200 million. Betcha it’ll be better than blue people. Video after the break!

How CityVille Conquered My World

How CityVille Conquered My World

Okay, I’ve got this figured out: I’m going to get home and pop open CityVille. I should receive enough Zoning Permits from my Facebook neighbors to purchase another expansion that will allow me to physically grow my city. Oh, but I also have a huge crop of corn I need to harvest at 9:34PM so I can supply my stores, which I can then gather funds from which allow me to build more crap. But, I only have 30 energy and I have 40 crops to harvest, which means I better run and visit my neighbors’ cities so I can get extra energy, instead of having to wait nearly an hour to get that energy back the normal way. Oh, and in each neighbor city, I can visit five businesses or residences which gets me more money and increases my neighbor rating, which in turn…

Electric Cars? Whaaaaaa…

Electric Cars? Whaaaaaa…

It seems to me that the guys pushing electric vehicles started off on the wrong foot. California decided in the early 90s that it wanted a Zero Emission Vehicle to combat their terrible air quality – and thus the EV1 was born. We all know how that went. Read the rest of this article…

Playing Snake On YouTube (Spoiler Alert : I’m Behind The Times)

Posted by on January 30, 2011 at 12:54 am in Gaming

Well…I know I’m Mr. MegaInternetNewb because this has apparently been around for AGES (like…since July) but I figured I’d post it here just in case there’s anyone else out there who, like me, is living in the stone age (I blame Angry Birds for stealing my life).

SO if you’re sitting in the cave next to me, go fire up YouTube and play a game of snake. I’m going to get another brontosaurus sandwich.

And keep your nasty fingers off my pterodactyl eggs or I’ll brain you with my trusty cow femur.

Big Gun Goes BOOM

Ok…I know this video is so old it owes Moses 14 shekels but I’ve always found it funny.

This is a bunch of tools trying to fire a .700 Nitro Express rifle which, apparently, has a little bit of recoil.

I’m not sure which is funnier, the Arabs flying across the room or the guy laughing in the background.

Ha ha ha haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
