Leaked Battlefield 3 Gameplay From GDC ’11
That’s right people, we’ve gotten our grubby little hands on some leaked Battlefield 3 footage from this years Game Developers Conference. Since most footage from games are guarded behind curtains at GDC, it takes some rather large juevos to take pictures let alone a 4 minute film.

We’ve pretty much assumed it for a while now, but at a recent GDC panel, Bungie’s Lead Network Engineer David Aldridge officially unveiled that they’re working on a “massively multiplayer action game” and that it isn’t “WoW in space.” Personally, I’m kinda excited.
Escape Velocity
Do you like space, space ships, space trading, space combat, and space space? If you said yes to all of these and grew up computing with a Macintosh, you know what’s up. Escape Velocity, an open ended space trading and combat simulator, was a true specimen of pinnacle gaming in the mid 90’s.

Deus Ex Is The Best Shooter Ever Made, Period
Go buy this game – those opening words of PC Gamer‘s 94% review were enough for me. With my first paycheck ever, I grabbed the foil silver and blue box (back when they were still in their original, monstrous sizes) and made my way to the checkout. At the tender age of 16, I was afraid I was going to be carded because of the game’s Mature rating, denying my acquisition of this absolute beauty – nope! Little did I realize that I was beginning an epic adventure that I would never forget. Long after the Halos, Half-Lifes, and Gears of Wars have stampeded across the action game landscape, Deus Ex is still the Best Shooter Ever Made, Period.
Reimagining Pokemon
“A wild ZUBAT appeared!” was the most frightening sentence a child in the 90’s would ever have to face. Caves in the Pokemon universe were the bain of my existence. I’m sure others would agree as well. But prowling through those caves provided extensive life experiences. And because of Pokemon, I always carry an extra vile of REPEL when spelunking.
