Stuck In Star Wars: The Old Republic. Literally. (Video)

Many people get trapped by Star Wars: The Old Republic because it’s a very WoW-like MMO, which is a double threat, but few get stuck in the game in the same way that Sam just did. Check out the video after the break!

Star Wars : The Old Republic – The Legacy System. WHEN, DAMMIT?!

For those of you who aren’t sure what’s going on with this whole “legacy system” in SWTOR (and those who haven’t even heard of it yet), what we know is that it is a system which is intended to tie all of your alt-characters to your main character, through familial relationship; Son, Daughter, Brother, Sister, Mother, Father, etc…

The system makes all of your characters share the same last name as well as sharing something called “legacy experience” which allows you to gain legacy levels.

But when the hell are they going to finish implementing it?

Hey, Developer, Your Game Is Great, But Does It Last?

Right now I’m in geek heaven and there isn’t a thing you can do to pry me away from it, so don’t even try. Having just landed a prospective gig here at FleshEatingZipper and with Star Trek Online going Free-to-Play in a matter of days, my time in the realm of reality is, I fear, drawing to an end.

But despite my brain’s ascent into a heavenly state, my heart is still a raging bull. As a Scotsman I always have something to be angry about, namely the cold, but it’s come to a point where video games and I are about to have a falling out… and it’s all because of Red Dead Redemption.

Revisiting Half-Life 2 On Xbox 360

Revisiting Half-Life 2 On Xbox 360

Your buggy, which is really just a loose frame of welded pipes with an engine and wheels strapped to it, reduces the oncoming beach bugs to squishy messes easily. It doesn’t seem like it should at all, especially since those beach bugs (antlions) have a lot of sharp corners that would surely shred your body as they went right through the buggy’s frame. It’s an acceptable trade of believability when you realize how well balanced Valve made this game. Modern gamers know Left 4 Dead and Portal, but those games couldn’t have existed if Half-Life 2, now seven years old, hadn’t changed shooters. I’ve already gushed about it when I said that Half-Life 3 was going to be nearly impossible to back up, but what’s it like to visit City 17 and its violent suburbs after a while? Let’s go on a trip in a buggy…

I Have Not Played The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim In Two Months

Yes, buried underneath a Woot! Monkey, a Mario doll, and a windshield wiper, is the massive, 600+-page hardbound strategy guide for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Unlike its predecessors Morrowind and Oblivion, I did not do a deep dive into this game. In fact Kelly, who has been keeping the disc warm in his Xbox for the past few weeks, has put more time into the game than I have. So why haven’t I played this game since the weekend after it launched?
