Call of Duty Elite iOS App Released

Yeah boy! This was one of the coolest features of the Elite service, the app! The app allows you to view your career summary, recent matches, track challenges and even modify your classes. Right now it’s available for iPhone and iPod Touch users but next week an Android version will be released. The app looks nice, very responsive and easy to use. Take a look at my pathetic stats and more screen shots below. Read the rest of this article…

World Of Warcraft Gold Farming Just Got Too Big

WoW and gold farmers go together like shoes and socks, steak and potatoes, Coke and a smile, Smith and Wesson…

To say that gold farming and sales have become a problem in World of Warcraft is to say that the surface of the sun is a bit warm. The economy in that game is so utterly destroyed, it isn’t uncommon to see people asking for thousands of gold for a stack of linen, in the auction house. Upcoming F2P MMO “Age of Wushu” Has Me Curious, Skeptical

Looking around the internet at the various MMO offerings brought me to an article about Age Of Wushu, a Chinese game being produced by Snail Games and marketed as free to play. I read a little about it and took some time to peruse their well-built website and I can say 2 things struck me, right off the bat:

Infinite Lives: Watch The Best E3 Documentary Right Now, For Free.

A few years ago, FleshEatingZipper’s own Kelly and I produced a documentary about our road trip to the Electronic Entertainment Expo. Normally dominated by professionals like retailers and game journalists (that would be the 2012 version of FleshEatingZipper’s own Kelly and me), the film showed how one gets in, how they get there, and what they do there as an outsider. Now you can watch it online, for free. That’s right. Check it out after the break!

HOLY SITH! SWTOR Hits 350,000 Concurrent Online Users

The question on the minds of many, lately, is simple. Will Star Wars : The Old Republic be able to stand on its own in the face of the giant – World of Warcraft? Since the release of the game, many people have been trying to figure out and answer that question, for any number of reasons.

For some, it’s a gauge of whether to get a subscription when their free month runs out. For others it is a gauge of whether to start playing at all. For still others, it is a gauge of the MMO market and how healthy it is today.

According to numbers showing up now, we may have some answers.
