What do we have here? A new Battlefield game thats free to play? That’s right ladies and gentlemen. EA and Easy Studios have teamed up to create a completely free online version of Battlefield using a modified version of Battlefield 2’s engine. But hold on a second. We’ve all been told by our mother or father that nothing in life is ever free. Well. They were right.

Game Informer Has An Hour-Long Documentary On Volition
I’ve played more Descent than I can remember. And its sequel. And Freespace. And its sequel. My point is that I’ve always had a soft spot for Volition, Inc. On a trip to Champaign, Illinois to break us all the coverage about Saints Row: The Third, Game Informer managed to turn a series of interviews with the team into an hour-long documentary about the 18-year history of Volition.

Sony Online Entertainment Consolidates, We Wonder Why It Didn’t Happen Years Ago
Before Minecraft, CityVille and World of Warcraft, there was another gaming sensation that we gathered over for our massively-multiplayer experiences: that game was EverQuest. My dad played the game from its beta in March of 1999 and for its time, it was an incredibly fun experience that also looked really good, too (it was one of the first PC games that required a 3D accelerator). Well, it seems that in light of the fact that Sony Online Entertainment never found a suitable replacement for the franchise, word is going out that three of their five studios and two hundred jobs are being nixed.

Duke Nukem Forever Delayed, Of Course it is!
I was really hoping not to see the above video but I clicked play just like you probably did. The game is pushed back a little more than a month (June 14th US, June 10th International) so it’s not that bad right? Wrong, this should of came out years ago!
