Walmart Testing In-Store Pickup… With Lockers
Needs more lockers.
You know how most brick and mortar retailers have the option to ship your order to the store or have in-store pickup? It makes things easier when you don’t want to wait for your online order to get shipped to you directly. Last September, Amazon began installing lockers in 7-elevens and other places to give people the option of picking up their package at a convenient time, sometimes on the same day. Well, Walmart is now testing this space for their own stores. Read the rest of this article…
Patent Reveals Sony Is Looking to Compete Against Google Glass
Patent drawing for the Glass competitor.
Google Glass looks awesome, something I thought that only Google could pull off. That doesn’t stop the competition from trying to grab their share of the market, though. Case in point: Sony has filed patents for something that looks really similar to Google’s technological headwear. Read the rest of this article…
HBO Go Streaming-Only Plan May Actually Come to the US
Hurry up and come to me!
Back in August, I wrote about how parts of Europe would be allowed to subscribe to an online-only version of HBO Go, the complement to your current HBO service that allows you to stream HBO shows on demand, and how I desperately wanted it. Well it may actually happen. Read the rest of this article…

Google Adds Search Filter To Find Animated GIFs, Because Why Not?
Emma Stone, because yes.
I collect a lot of animated GIFs for later use in forums and y’know, whatever. It’s so much easier to convey emotion with an animated GIF than to type out what you feel. Up until now it hasn’t been easy to find them: you would search Google, click a bunch of links to GIF sites that are filled with pop-ups and hope that’s the one you wanted. Detonation (Mobile) Review: A Casual Physics Maze That Will Test Your Cockiness
You’ll have an explosive good time, amirite guys? …Guys?
This past week I’ve been sucked into a mobile game called Detonation. It’s simple, addicting and is something I can easily pick up and play for a few minutes when it’s slow. The game’s objective is to lead a bomb hanging from a crane to the exit, moving the crane up and down and side to side. Like I said, pretty simple. There are a couple of factors that make the game challenging though, the biggest being you, the player. I’ll get to that in just a second.
Should Advertisers Be Allowed to Track You Online?
You didn’t actually win anything, sorry…
The first thing that comes to most people’s mind when asked if they want to be tracked online is, oh hell no! This sounds like a huge invasion of privacy and all the other terrible things associated thereof. But do you know what’s actually going on when advertisers are tracking you online? When Will Google Make A Native Unified Email App For Android?
So close, but so far.
This is really frustrating. We use Google Apps at FEZ and share a Gmail account. After January 30th, Google stopped allowing new devices to use Google Sync, which is just like Exchange ActiveSync. The problem is that after my Droid DNA went on the fritz and was replaced, I can’t use HTC’s unified mail app for all my different email accounts. Read the rest of this article…

It went viral and amassed $1 million in less than four hours, making it the fastest project to raise $1 million on Kickstarter ever. That’s not all: in less than twelve hours they raised the entire asking amount of $2 million.
Windows Phone, iPhone, Or Android, I Have The Worst Luck With Cell Phones
Happens to me all the time.
For as long as I’ve been buying cell phones, I’ve noticed one disturbing trend: they would always break on me. I’d end up getting two or three of the same phone before it finally worked out. No joke. Read the rest of this article…
