Fear Factor is Back – Sell Out Spotlight
It’s that time of the month again. No, no, not that time of the month. It’s time to highlight one of our awesome sponsors that keep us up and running in what we call our sell out spotlight. At FleshEatingZipper, we don’t want to clutter our site with ads, whether it’s pop-ups or full page ads that block content. We’re not big fans of reality television with some exceptions, Joe Rogan, I mean Fear Factor, being one of them! Read the rest of this article…
The Hangover Part 3 “Might” Be Different
This won’t come as a shock to anyone, but after grossing just over a billion dollars worldwide, The Hangover franchise is going to return with a third installment. The big question is, where will Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis end up next?
Trent Reznor’s ‘Dragon Tattoo’ Soundtrack Unleashed: Free 6-Track Sampler To $300 Deluxe Edition
If you were awake early this morning (or paying particular attention) then you saw Trent Reznor unveil the ‘Dragon Tattoo’ soundtrack that he’s been working on for the past fourteen months with Atticus Ross (who soloed on The Book of Eli soundtrack). Together they’ve been known for their work on Nine Inch Nails, but you may remember them earlier this year on stage at the Kodiak Theater to win Academy Awards for their musical work on ‘The Social Network’. Since this is released by The Null Corporation, Reznor’s private label, there’s going to be plenty of options to acquire their industrial instrumental work. I’ll explain more after the break!

TV Commercials Are Full Of Beautiful Women (That Aren’t Celebrities!)
Yes, I seriously dug around the internet for a picture of Zooey Deschanel in a promo for New Girl just to use as a masthead image. Too bad she’s a celebrity and obviously doesn’t qualify under the guidelines of this article! Have you ever stopped a commercial (okay, it’s difficult on live TV, I get it) just so you could see a random pretty girl in an ad that only exists for a fraction of a second? No? Well, I have! And now it’s my time to show off some recent picks from my list of admirable cuties!
TV Shows You Can Stop Watching Right Away
There’s plenty of garbage on television and while new shows hardly need our help being fed into the maw of the Cancellation Monster, we sure do wish a few more would disappear from the airwaves. We tried – we really did try – to give these programs a fair shake, but watching them is a bit like letting a ghost pass through you, a chilling feeling that there’s not much left before their icy demise. Which ones are they? Well, you can watch an episode, but that’s just too painful. Instead, just read our notes after the break!
Will 007: Skyfall Be The Best Film Of 2012? Yes, Here’s Why.
To be honest, I’ve only seen five Bond films end-to-end (Moonraker, GoldenEye, Die Another Day, Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace) and snippets of the others, but I’ve spent a ton of time reading about the franchise. James Bond films, even at their worst, still come across as nearly intellectual compared to other action franchises running in theaters. After Bond had seemingly gone into the gutter, the gatekeepers of the series decided that a gritty, dramatic reboot was in the cards with Casino Royale, a film that re-established faith for many Bond fans. With a soft sequel (Quantum of Solace) and MGM’s financial difficulties, it seemed as though a twenty-third Bond film was out of the deck. Nope! Recently unveiled as ‘Skyfall’, we’ll get to see James shoot, booze, and charm his way through another adventure by the end of 2012. Why will it be awesome? Let me explain why…
‘Breaking Dawn’ Causes Seizures, Still Can’t Convince People To Stop Watching ‘Twilight’
If you’re young and a girl, you’ve probably been nagging and screeching to see the new ‘Twilight’ film like a phantom. The latest in the Twilight saga, Breaking Dawn: Part 1, isn’t slated to break any records, but it’s got a lot of people up in a tizzy as it’s the second to last flick based on the books. Like Harry Potter, Summit Entertainment (which has made bank on the series) decided to split the last of Stephanie Meyer’s Twilight books in half, which will net them hundreds of millions of dollars in the long run. All of this is front-loaded traffic of course, meaning that many will stream into theaters in the first weekend in a fury and then stomp out, leaving most showings empty for the rest of its run. These ‘Breaking Dawn: Part 1’ fans are discovering something else magical about the film that isn’t related to vampires or werewolves: its ability to effectively induce seizures.
